I have a few minutes before I leave for spinning, so I thought I'd check in. I hope to be a bit more regular about blogging; it's such a good mental thing for me.
Eating is still going well. I don't know if it's mental, but since I have been focusing more on eating real food (see my last blog), I find myself craving sugary snacks far less often. Always a good thing for me. I definitely feel more satiated after meals, also. Even if it is just mental, it's working for me. It's such a great thing when your body just feels right. I don't know how to explain it better than that, but I'm sure most of you know what I mean.
Fellow sparker KKITTSY and I tried rock climbing for the first time last Sunday, and it was fun but tough! And scary! (And that was just indoor climbing!) We had a class first where they explained how to tie knots and how to belay (hold your partner safely in the air so if they fall, they don't fall far). A lot more goes into it than I thought. Now that I get the basics, I'd love to go back and try it again. We only had time to climb a couple different walls, but I can see how it easy it would be to become hooked. And holy cow--the short time I spent climbing was an amazing upper body workout. My arms were shaking!
