Still Making Progress!

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

First of all - THANK YOU all so much for "feeling my pain" for this little dog. I can't stand feeling helpless - and I was feeling it. But I also knew that Roxy was dependant on humans and that was scary too!! She continues to improve - although - she still has a long ways to go. But I will take any improvement that I can get!! She is going to continue with outpatient status - and I am so relieved. I would rather her be at the Vet's office instead of home alone in her crate while we are at work. So - this works for me!! Her red blood cell count continues to improve and the Vet is hoping to have the blood work that they sent out back by Friday - we are still hoping that it will give the answer to what caused the massive internal bleeding.....
FYI - she was barking and prancing today when I got her home....she is improving no matter what caused this!!
It hasn't rained in a couple days - so it's not currently raining in our bedroom. Thank You Lord!!! ALTHOUGH - the upstairs toilet wasn't working properly this morning and I was NOT happy!! But it's fine now - so again - disaster has been averted!!
I could use a little "down" time - but still feeling blessed at this moment!!

I was telling my coworkers (all dog owners) about your little pup. So many prayers have gone out for Roxy. glad things are starting to settle down. Fur babies are the best and yes dear they depend on us for so much. but they give so much in return also as you are seeing with the prancing. Have a even better day today.
