So much weight gain....it really does sneak up on you!

Over the last year I really haven't been watching my weight. You know its bad when you haven't even bothered to step on the scales in a few months because you know you've gained weight. In your head you think "Well if I don't weigh myself I can deny it!"
Well I am hopefully going to be starting a new job in the coming months and I really don't want to feel uncomfortable because I'm carrying too much weight, so I am renewing my promise to myself to make 2013 my year to get healthy. When I tried on a new outfit I had bought for my interview it looked great, apart from the big bulgy belly you could see when I turned side-on. The reason I bought new clothes in the first place? Well it's been a few years since my last interview and none of my preferred outfits fitted! A severe wake-up call that made me hop on the scales.
So to achieve my weight loss I have set myself a few small goals:
*Weigh-in once a week (no more hiding from my weight)
*Write up what I eat (even on bad days when I eat too much)
*Start some sort of exercise (in the last few months I have done absolutely no exercise!)
So here's hoping these little goals can really help and that I get my new job!
