I wonder what would happen.......

If we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to get it if we forgot it?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we used it to get messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to kids as gifts?
What if we used it as we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
This is something to make you go ...hmm...where is my Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill! Makes you stop& think, "Where are my priorities?" And no dropped calls!

Oh does this ring so true!! One of the biggest things I have struggled with since becoming a Christian is reading His Word consistently. It is so true that we need to treat it with respect. Thanks for the reminder.
    Be blessed

I like that. A lot of us are not plugged in to our Bible. And why not? It is an awesome guide to all that we need in life. I always laugh when people say that life or kids do not come with instruction manuals ... because I think in my head ... yes they do ... just open the Bible ... the answers are there. Great post. I look forward to talking with you more on "Love Built A Bridge". Fondly, ~D~
