My One Remaining Struggle

I did not weigh myself today despite an incredible urge to do just that. I've decided that, since I began the ETL food plan on a Sunday, that Sunday will be my "weigh day." I am not anticipating much loss - if any - this week. I had some small departures from "The Plan" such as today, having had lunch at 11:30 (because I had breakfast at 6:00) I was starving by 4:30 and had a bowl of the Super Miso Soup I'd made for yesterday's dinner. Then at 5:30 we had our "real" dinner of cooked veggies in a wrap with a "cream sauce" made with almond milk and ground cashews. After eating that I am very stuffed. Eating big meals is not a problem on this diet...it is encouraged in fact.
Breakfast and lunch were raw and dinner was cooked. I would say I came close to my One pound raw/one pound cooked goal today. Dr. Fuhrman says the more fruits and veggies you eat, the more you will lose. It's hard to get beyond the old guilt that says that a full tummy is a bad thing. BTW, my eating the soup at dinner wasn't a problem....what WAS a problem was that I ate it about an hour before I had dinner and eating between meals at any time is greatly discouraged.
I made a cup of no added sugar hot cocoa today and it was disgusting. I took several sips and dumped it down the drain. One GOOD thing happened and I guess I should give myself kudos for it: My daughter brought a half dozen donuts from a bakery over for my husband (he planned that cheat for a while)....she offered me some and I said "no thanks"...There was a brief struggle with temptation but I prevailed.
My cheats have been in the middle of the night, eating an orange and some prunes. We are not supposed to have dried fruit however because I take a narcotic pain reliever, constipation is a big problem, so I am pretty much forced to eat prunes or drink prune juice. But having this stuff in between meals is a problem. I wish I could overcome this habit of midnight snacking. It is really the only thing standing between me and perfect compliance with the food plan.
I've been told I look thinner especially in my face. As I was cooking dinner my pants fell down to my knees. I don''t recall having that problem with these sweats before so maybe that is a good sign.
That's where it stands. I think if I could stall breakfast a little bit, I wouldn't get so hungry between all my meals. I think I'm gonna try that tomorrow. Maybe not eat breakfast until 7:30 or 8:00. I will let you know how that goes.
