So Close I can Taste it

Yesterday I had SUCH a busy day! I won't waste time by relaying to you all that I did, but I had four appointments and accomplished a lot (such as scrubbing my refrigerator) in between. Today, I only have one appointment but do plan to tackle the job of cleaning out my bedroom closet. It's been a while since I've done that and it is quite messy right now. Part of the problem is its location. It is at the foot of my bed and there is only about a foot between the bed and the closet, so there is limited access to it.
I do have some good news. This morning I weighed 200 pounds! That means only one more pound until I'm in Onederland! I'm so excited about this. Last night I had a psychiatrist appointment and she asked me what I weigh. I told her and told her I'd just lost 20 pounds. She was amazed because she knows how limited I am in activity due to my pain levels. She asked a lot of questions about my diet and said she was going to look into it for herself. I told her how it's helped my anxiety levels...that I haven't had to take anxiety medication ever since my first week of being on the diet. She was very interested in learning more.
I was going to exercise this morning ....but as I look outside, it looks like it will be a beautiful day. This morning it is cool....maybe in the 50's. So maybe I will take a walk instead of exercising down in my basement---it sounds a lot more pleasant. I wish I could wake my daughter up to go with me but that won't work. She is NOT a morning person. Oh well, maybe she will go with me again in the evening and I will get two walks in today.
Yesterday I had breakfast with a friend at a restaurant in my town. They had a plant sale going on there too. I got a little pot of oregano which is the only herb I really did not have this year. (of the general cooking herbs )....My spice jar is almost empty from my garden of past years....in fact I had just had to buy a jar of oregano. I almost never buy spices because I usually grow them. My dill plant drowned, so I planted the oregano in the dill's container yesterday. My garden is looking so pretty. I have about12 or 14 plants this year. More than last year but less than some years. I already have tomatoes on my vines. I've got to use some of my cilantro....it's growing wild. I have to keep pinching off the blossoms. Once an herb blooms it is pretty much useless. My mint is doing nicely this year. Last year I hardly had any. I had supplemented the mint in my garden by planting a trailer from my potted mint into the ground. It came back this year and is growing well.
Well I hope that in the next day or two I will be able to come back and tell you I'm in the 100's. Won't that be exciting? Well maybe not so exciting for you....but it will be for me.
