I commented on someone's blog with this answer and felt that I should put it on my blog.

Once upon a time I was doing awesome on my diet and exercise regimen. I worked hard at it and lost almost 50 pounds. I was at the half-way point of the 100 pounds I needed to lose. I had lost all this weight and felt like a million bucks. Then I went on vacation on a cruise, ALLOWED myself to eat anything I wanted on that cruise and somehow got derailed. I could not get back into the diet mode. I also developed plantar fascitis on my left foot and that led to me saying goodbye to exercise, since I used the treadmill everyday. Needless to say, I gained 40 pounds back. From August 2012 to June 24, 2013, it was a free for all and I felt horrible about myself. Now, I am back on track. I have lost 7 of those 40 pounds, still have plantar fascitis but exercise on a stationary bike and do weights 5 days per week. The moral to my story is that it's never too late to start again! p.s. I am feeling more proud of myself more and more every day!
