I don't know why some things irritate me so.

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

It's been a while since I have blogged, but I need to change something...last couple years didn't gain all my weight back, but enough to notice. I allowed life situations to get to me. Should have been down 30 lbs 9/2...but it came and went. So what am I gonna do...get right back on the horse. Make a new goal! Not looking at it as failure..but a renewed committment. I've done before...and I can do it again!

With that said, I was interupted while talking with a friend today. We are recommitting excersice together. This other person comes out of the blue and says "what your problem is, you think about it too much! If you would just stop thinking about it, you will lose it". OK, I was happy that worked for her, but for me, if I ignore, it gets worse!!! I like making small goals, achieving them and feeling accomplished. Sometimes, even treating myself when I meet certain goals. So here I am, back on SP because that is what works for me.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!!! I have stuck to excersie since I wrote this post!!! Am I as disciplined as I was with myself in the past?? No, but one foot in front of the other. I started our all this with just doing "something" 10 minutes a day!!!!

I wish I could not think about it, but then I would let myself eat way too much. I accepted that this is forever and every day I need to make the right choices or I'll weigh 200 lbs easy. I do take a day off here or there and that's okay. Besides, I have 3 kids I need to be able to keep up with and I can only do that if I'm at a healthy weight. Sounds like you have a plan and are ready to go. emoticon

Not thinking about it is how I got to the heaviest weight I'd ever been. I think that might not be the way to go...

Good for you, taking the approach that works for you. emoticon

I can't just not think about it, either. Well... I can, but I gain weight like I'm getting paid for it. I have to think about it, bordering obsession, to make any progress.

Anyway, poop on her. Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

Do what works for you. I am in the same boat as you so I know how you feel. I can't forget. My success came from planning and tracking. You can do it! emoticon

Just do what you know will work for you and forget what she said.
