Budget Your Calories

I know my body and the recommendations of others for the number of calories doesn't help me to lose weight. I know that I need to only consume 1200 calories a day to lose weight but they need to be healthy, balanced calories. SP Nutrition tracker really helps me do that. I budget 300 calories for each meal and 100 calories for 3 snacks. I adjust the snacks to even out the meals if I go over. SP says I can eat more if I exercise more. It doesn't work for me. I exercise more and still try to stick with my calorie budget. I'm on day #73 and its working for me.

    So glad this is working for you. I like that you set a time frame for your journey. You may find that life interferes with it, esp with the holidays coming but it's a great starting point and I wish you well!

    Good for you. I have learned to lose weight, you have to get sick! (Just kidding) although that is how I lost weight this last time. Now the appetite is back and I have to fight putting the weight back on! Good luck on your program emoticon emoticon emoticon
