If you know me, you know that I only blog when I have to do so. But it is important to have goals and to have them where I and others who will hold me accountable can see them!
Holidays are renown for wrecking the best diet and fitness efforts through unresistable treats and family and friend fellowship activities that draw us away from our health plans. So,...
During the holidays (November/December) I will:
Do my fitness activities-ST Mon/Thurs. walk/stairs at lunch, swim laps Tues/Fri/Sat
Eat within my eating plan template fitting in those holiday foods that are within my plan and avoiding those that are not.
Get 8+ hrs of sleep each night to keep the stress at bay
Take me time, again to avoid the stress associated with the holidays
Get a massage at least once while home for the holidays
If I stick to the above, I should easily weigh in with a loss during the holidays instead of the gain that usually follows holiday eating.
