Just waiting to head out for another day of processing some pork for extended family. We do a lot of our own food around here. I like knowing where what goes into my mouth comes from.

I have done fairly well in eating these last couple days. In fact, I do really well until dinner and then eat too much but have been staying within my calorie range. Doing my own cooking helps with that. Eating somewhere else always messes things up for me.

Hopefully I will get to walk when I get home early afternoon. Biggest problem is I do best walking early morning. It felt so good yesterday to walk the 3 miles. I hadn't done that in about 2 months. Need to do that on a regular basis if only the temperature would cooperate.

I made some lofty goals yesterday. Way above the comfortable limit. I am going to push myself more this time. If I can stay healthy I should be able to meet the goals but will have to do much more than I have ever done before. If other people can lose 2 pounds a week, I should be able to also. I just need to be more active and eat less calories.

Being content with a little progress has kept me on this journey for over two years and that is ridiculous for 50 pounds. I lose and gain and lose and gain. I need to set my mind to get it done and continue with healthy eating for the rest of my life.

On with life!! Go GG! You can do this thing!

    Great attitude! Yes, you will do it :) Sounds like you are on the right path especially with having your own farm and eating healthy instead of processed food. That is fabulous! Keep up the good work!
