This was actually taken yesterday - Sunday - afternoon by one of my cousins. Notice the snow was still falling:



Okay, I admit it - I've turned into a wimp. But I like hot water, and lights, and heat, and my coffee first thing in the morning... emoticon

    I love snow. I grew up in Nashville and we used to have a couple of good 8"-10"snows every winter. No-one knew how to drive in it (Nashville is a tad hilly) so everyone stayed home and school was canceled. It doesn't snow like that in Tennessee any more - not even here on the mountain. I loved the snow when I lived in New England because to me, deep down, it still meant "no school." % ) Being "snowed in", complete with closed roads, no phone, no electricity - the silence - captures my imagination... and yes, I have been snowed in and yes, I treasure the experience.

    That looks like a picture from my neighborhood. I've been thinking about shoveling my walk but decided people can come in through the garage! More snow due this afternoon - Here I am wishing for summer when winter isn't even officially here yet!
