I've blogged quite a number of times about Steve Siebold's old free 21 day program which was called fatlosers.com.
It was a daily email video subscription. It was terrific. I went through the 21 day program several times. Siebold said quite frankly that most people quit about day 4. Or day 6. Because it was too "in your face". He knew it. But he wasn't prepared to sugar coat his message.
The original fat loser program was based upon Steve Siebold's "mental toughness" philosophy. Steve Siebold is a millionaire public speaker who sells mental toughness by delivering key notes at conferences to major American business corporations. He applies the same mental toughness approach to weight loss. And no question, he takes no prisoners.
A number of people who tried to sign up for the old www.fatlosers.com program told me it's now being sold for a $500 subscription fee. Too bad.
However, Siebold has a new ebook which is free and downloadable at the link above. You'll see it's fat loser (no "s", as in "fatlosers"). The link is a bit wonky, or a least I found it so . . . I had to put in my first name, hit enter and then got an error message. But with persistence I was able to enter enough info to get the ebook.
As soon as I had it, I read it without stopping. It's 117 pages of highly relevant and current info on losing weight and keeping it off. He deals with all the topics that are normally never discussed in this context.
Religion. Politics. The weight loss industry. The manufactured food industry. The effect of weight loss on (ahem) intimate relationships. The effect of weight loss on business and professional success. The connection between personal integrity and weight loss.
Easy to read? Not every page.
Trustworthy? True? Transformative?
Yes, yes and yes.
Might very well be the best thing I read in 2014 about weight control.
I commend it to anyone here who has decided: this is the year!! And to all those of us in maintenance who have decided: every year is the year because every day we're living that decision to keep it off and to stay fit.
Thanks once again, Steve Siebold. Such generosity in sharing his wisdom. What a surge of enthusiasm and optimism and positive can-do energy he communicates in this remarkable new book.
