So, January didn't go so hot with workouts or weight loss because the kids were out for nearly 2 solid weeks because of snow days and some weird hip pain I was having. Way to put a dent in my plans, you know?
Anyway, I am restarting this month (gained a couple of pounds in January, well, actually, about 5 pounds, and have already lost 3 since the Feb 1st, so I am hopeful for the rest of the month.
My birthday is Wednesday and birthdays always make you think about your health goals. Determination and focus is key. So, I've tweaked my workout goals to be at level one and two for 3 weeks each and level three for 4 weeks.
First 3 weeks (February 3-23)
Tae-bo (Basic + 8 minute)
Yoga/Jackie Warner (Wk 1: 15-min Total Body + Inhale!/Wk 2&3: Extreme Time Saver Training+ Inhale!)
Jillian Michaels (Wk 1: 30-Day Shred L1/ Wk 2&3: 30-Day Shred L2)

Second 3 weeks (February 24 - March 16)

Weigh in April 14
And I've come up with goals for pounds to lose every month to reach or exceed my goals. I must believe to achieve. I guess I need to chant "Believe" in my head all the time. I'm doing a fun bonus challenge to walk 5 minutes each weekday starting today and adding 5 minutes each additional day. By Feb 28 I'll be at 100 minutes and I hope to do much of it outdoors. If not, I have access to a treadmill, so no excuses! Then, next month, I'll do the same thing with running and hope Mother Nature lets up a little by then. After the kids Spring break, I'll join the rec center again to change things up. My big goal is to weigh less on my 15th wedding anniversary in June than I did on our actual wedding day, because that would put me at a healthy BMI number, even if it is just by one pound. Time to immerse myself in getting healthy again. And, it's also time to IMPRESS myself, because, after all, I am the only one standing in my weigh, I mean, way :o) Have a Fab February everyone!
