Seen doctor today and cast came off but now i have to do therapy to get my hand back in shape. i can type better with the cast off but hand is still swelled and i feel like an alligator with the skin peeling off. i am to have therapy twice a week for a month and then see him again in 6 weeks. My fingernails are longer on my left hand than on my right. I am so sick of this snow though. it is supposed to snow on Thursday and i have an appointment then. I don't want to go on the van for my Tuesday appointments though cause it would be too hard for me to manipulate the seat belts in the back and the driver was not very helpful last week when i went on. she did not get up to help me out at all. This week my daughter went with me and did the shopping. i had my first therapy session too. I have exercises to do at home too twice a day as well.

Thankful you no longer have to deal with the cast. Lots and lots of lotion to moisturize the skin to help it heal quickly. Praying that the therapy will give you the results you need.

Glad your cast is off; praying that your hand will respond well to therapy andbe back to normal very soon. It's hard for people to understand how challenging things are with an injury if they haven't experienced it themselves. Your compassion reserves will be really strong after this experience!
emoticon Wish I could send you some. It's been absolutely gorgeous this week, but all too soon it'll feel like a steam bath.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! emoticon emoticon
