The last week or so have been good for me. The weather is finally showing some spring which does so much to lift my spirits. I've been trying to take the dog out for a walk in the afternoon in addition to whatever my scheduled exercise is. It just feels so glorious to be out in the sunshine and moving my body. I must admit that March wreaked havoc on my exercise program. I did fairly well (not perfect, by any stretch) with my food but I had more days not exercising than exercising. Going through all the health issues is my excuse.
Since I'm trying to break my scale addiction, I only weigh and measure myself once a month. Well, that was yesterday. Measurements held steady but I gained 3 pounds. Not happy but I need to do better with my exercise!! Once a month is a pretty good plan for me---that way, I'm only depressed one day of the month instead of all of them! LOL
Trying to get some extras done around here. (Never mind a basic cleaning would help!) I cleaned out some of my old teaching stuff. I'm donating all of my big books to my grandson's preschool. I'm hoping to donate some other teaching stuff to a wonderful preschool that serves mostly underprivileged kids. Not even close to having that all cleaned out. WHEW!
Did basics today and hope to change out winter/summer clothes tomorrow. I am tired of looking at sweaters (although I'll probably still need them for awhile).
