Hey all, it's been awhile. I have good news and bad news. The good news, I've more or less kept up with fitness and food. I've maintained successfully. So call me one of those people that disappears and you wonder if they maintained. Well, I have. That's good news. The bad news is that up until very recently, I've stuck to lifting at least 2 days a week and keeping my diet reasonable. That is how you maintain after all, right?

Life has thrown me a significant curve ball. As you know, I've always been methodical, well planned and well disciplined. My foundation has more or less been rocked and it's having a number of negative side effects that I think will be short term. I'm up for at least a couple of very uncomfortable months.

I'm not looking for support here for that situation, I already have a great support system, but I felt it was important for me to begin documenting where I'm at mentally and physically and most importantly to start readapting my fitness mindset.

SparkPeople is obviously a great place to do that.

    I hope you're still maintaining. I gained a few pounds during our oldest daughter's wedding (and the assorted celebrations) and got my INR way too high (way too much wine) but I'm back at my goal weight again and on a modest exercise routine. I hope you're handling all your problems well. emoticon

    Congrats on maintaining successfully.
    I've found that finding your 'secret' to maintenance only lasts so long. Over short or long life changes, circumstances change, curve balls get thrown.
    This is where having a great foundation and support system in place is vital.
    Sounds like to have your bases covered.
    Whatever your curve ball may be, you'll work it out from there.
    Looking forward to having you around a bit more often again.
    Always liked your methodical way of looking at things.
