SLOW PROGRESS...

Wednesday, April 09, 2014

Since my last blog entry I lost a couple more pounds. I consider it kind of a success, I guess. We took a 5 day road trip with five children, three of them three and under, and it was not easy. Lots of fast food at rest stops, lots of fancy coffee drinks to stay awake while driving, and food all weekend at my brother's rehearsal dinner and wedding. Pretty much everything was out of my control except for portion sizes and choosing water over soda. Even that was not a complete success. It's hard to eat pizza without soda! Lol. Anyway, I only gained a pound and a half over the course of the road trip and I lost it quickly and a couple more pounds.

It feels like slow weight lost, but success is success. I had my six week checkup today and the doctor finally cleared me to do pretty much whatever I want because my C-section incision has healed so well. You mean I have to vacuum and sweep again? Bummer!

Bouncing back after baby isn't easy, but she is so worth it...
