Today we went to Nash Farms which is a working Farm in Grapevine. It was so much fun. Most of it is free. So much rich history there. An old farm house, and the kids got to wash "clothes" on a washboard, rinse and hang them up, then there was a woman cooking what they cooked and how they cooked back then. There was some great music to start off the morning. The kids also got to ride ponies.
Then later we went to the Arbor Daze at the Euless Library. Wow lots of stuff to do, some free, and some you had to pay. They gave away free trees. There is this "ride" that has long "arms" and then a harness with a bungee cords attached. The kids bounced on that and had a great time. Got to see Hawaiian dancers and samoan dancers. It was really great, and the best thing...I got to walk around. Have to go home tomorrow. Really don't want to. I may still move up here. Nothing is written in stone, but at least the pressure is off.
