Physical and mental exercise.
Does anyone else feel creeped out when the add pops up of Donald Duck preparing to chow down on a poultry leg?
Thanks to WATERMELLEN, I now have to run to the store to get eggplant and lentils.
Never, ever, eat only a whole 4-serving bag of Brussels sprouts as your dinner even if pan roasting them with garlic, no oil, then applying a teriyaki sauce and a drop of sesame oil is awesome.
I may have mentioned the wall failure of my new pool due to the bad winter. If not, now you know the wall buckled, split, emptied 2 ft of water into unknown regions during a snow, ice and rain storm. I'm on a bit of a hill and no neighbors shot arrows at my house so I think it was a slow drain.
I am removing a 2ft wide layer of HEAVY decorative river rock, sand and dirt around the entire pool-21 ft diameter. Rock first, moved to a tarp for safety reasons, then peel back the underlying weed barrier and excavate another 4 inches of sand, regular rock or dirt. All this so the crew can rebuild the pool. Tried to hire but can't get someone to take the job. DD and I removed some stone on Mothers' day (yeah, that's how I have my fun) then I was out for hours yesterday. More today. Here is a picture of the space taken before the landscapers filled it in with the rock.
Have I said I don't exercise?
I read in someone else's blog today that 70 is the new 50.; so I must be 40 again.
In that case I could bench press almost my own weight which was 60 pound less, run the stair climber to the top of the -sad to say the virtual goal- World Trade Center in 25 minutes and fit into a size 12-I really do have big bones and even at 140 wore a 12!
