The daily Grind-avoiding going in.

"Got up
Got outta bed
Dragged a comb across my head.
Found my way downstairs and had a cup..."
Ah, Beatles in the morning.
I'll be singing that one all day.

I'm watching what I eat and not having big fits. I've had a few mall victories like the argument I had with myself about the still unopened pint of ice cream in my freezer. I had a glass od ice water instead of eating it and that worked out great.
Not so great when I bought chips at Target. The Archer Farms flavored chips are my weakness. Mango salsa, chips and cheese.
Two out of three were purposely purchased for use on my 1/2 potato and slice of meatloaf. The chips were an emotional purchase.

Ah, salt! Paying the price while trying to pry open my eyes. Anyone with the new malware program would love to be looking at me through MY camera this morning. Good luck getting THAT vision out of your head, you sneaky spies, you!

How many holes does it take to fill the Albert Hall?

Ice cream is one of my favorite things so I only buy the healthier stuff and use portion control. A serving seems like very little but it does satisfy me.

I've never had those chips. My weakness is Lays. I was glad when they discontinued the Carolina BBQ chips. Those ended up in the cart every week.

I like tortilla chips or pretzels to crunch on, so I rarely buy them anymore. Something about knowing it's there alone makes me ending up eating it -- like your ice cream.

I cannot buy chips; no self-control whatsoever. Will eat them till they're gone AND will then be obsessed with thoughts of buying more. For weeks.

They might as well be crack cocaine, for me.

Chips are my downfall. I bought a container of ice cream at the store yesterday, confident that I will get one small bowl if I am lucky. The 13 yr old INHALES food. I cannot buy potato chips though, those I will eat till they are gone.

One day, one decision at a time! There's some good ones in that mix, so give yourself credit... but too much salt? I pay the price when I do that, too! emoticon

They don't tell you in the song. The sneaks.

Not going to NJ this weekend. Pork roll fest will have to wait. I am going down following weekend. June 1 is my nephew's engagement party. Maybe we can squeeze in Saturday (May 31) breakfast at a diner.
