Something about Thursday. My weekend planning day.

Anticipatory?
Almost over?

I'm done with this week already.
I'd like to have 2-3 days to get my house in order, it's been badly neglected. No dust bunnies but we've both been overworked and there's a pile of mail here, a pair of shoes there. Pile of things for donation by the door that has apparently taken a life of it's own. I've even pulled a few things back out and used them! Out of sight, out of mind I guess.

My refrigerator needs serious re-stocking.
My freezer still hasn't been fixed and considering what I need to do to get it out of where it is, I may try to live without it.

I was considering working the holidays so I could catch up, perhaps be less frustrated by getting some things done.

Instead I think this will be me-time. Cleaning, arranging, visiting and of course, still shoveling those stones away from the pool for the replacement.

Rain for the next 2-3 days will get me working indoors. It's thunderstorming right now at 6am, raining cats and dogs. At least I won't have to water!

I am looking forward to the weekend. I have a few small things on the calendar, but only one of them is "must do". (picking up a friend at the airport.)

Had a laugh on you pulling the things back out of the donate pile. My hubby does that. I've to break myself of it. I don't get rid of my fat clothes though as I usually wear them out.

We have been getting some storms. I like not watering too.

I find cleaning and organizing my house to be such a great de-stressor. Something about the whole process and the final results make it so gratifying.
I hope you get the same feeling.

My apartment needs some attention. Hoping to get it tidied up over the 3-day weekend.

I won't even try to describe my house and the piles of "unmade decisions" particularly during heavy training season! But when I have "down" time? Don't like to spend it making those exhausting decisions as to whether to pitch something, file it, or donate it... always feel virtuous when I do, though!

Good luck, and take care... make yourself feel good... because you're worth it! emoticon

Have to admit that for me "free time" is never allocated to work around the house (shame on me, good on you!!)

I am hoping for some catch-up time this weekend. My to-do list is the same as yours, with the addition of clean my camper before my camping trip with my class this weekend. I think having a me-day is perfect for you! As for me, I'm postponing that until the following weekend after the camping trip.

Did you get flooding where you are? We are flooded here. Fortunately, our house is high enough up our hill not to be flooded.
