Had an awesome food day yesterday, I ended up searching for something to eat at the end of the day because I had to few calories! You know how hard it is to find something for only 150 calories when your not hungry? My shakes fill me up and my bowl of veggies gives me the crunch that I always crave to I was totally satisfied!
Today I weighed in at: 237! down 2 pounds! (agian)
Today is my family BBQ, I've been not looking forward to it because there are just going to be a bunch of foods that I can't eat! I knew I was going to take chicken and have a "chicken sandwich in a bowl", but being surrounded by all those foods that I love... So DH found some portabella mushroom caps and got some fresh pineapple spears and I'm going to have those with my chicken breast, and we are taking some mashed potatoes with no cheese or anything like that added, or maybe some baked chips or my rice crackers to go with it. Sounds yummy! I'm also going to take a small bag of carrots to have so if I start craving something I should not have, I can have a carrot, which is my go to craving buster. I'm also going to let myself have a small peice of pie. More than likely this will mean I go over my calorie range by a little bit, but I'm okay with that. I'm having either a shake or oatmeal for breakfast and a shake for dinner.
I'm going to try to work out for 40-60 minutes today, depends on how much time I have before we leave! I let myself sleep in today, something I don't normally do, ever. I feel groggy headed and feel like I'm running behind, so I doubt I'll do that again! I'm going to work out on the riser for 400-600 steps, work out in intervals so that I can get my strength training in as well.
Usually I would take a slow day today, but I'm going to try to get some cleaning done today. Amazing how if you go just one afternoon, not even a whole day, without cleaning how messy a place can get!
It is another beautiful day outside, I want to try to spend at least 30 minutes outside today, even if it is just sitting down. Instead of crocheting in the house, I'll take it outside!
The first step is always the hardest, how true is that! Every morning, the first step is the hardest, getting out the step and getting going is hard, doing my first strength exercise, that first one is the hardest. But for some reason it gets easier as I go along. So if I can just convince myself to take that first step, even on days I don't want to, I can do the rest!
Today I will
Aerobics 40+ minutes
5+ Strength exercises
Stay as close to my calorie range as I can
Drink my water
Shine my sink
Work on my Flylady binder
Do at least one load of laundry
Read a chapter out of our current book to my kids
30 minutes of sunshine!
