First I want to say thank you guys for all the comments and encouragement! It helps sooooo much! You guys are the best!

I fell back asleep after my alarm went off and woke up when DH's alarm went off an hour later. So I'm running behind today, but I'm not going to let that stop me from getting my full workout in! Doing great so far today, amazing how a workout can energize you!

emoticon Weighed in at 235 this morning! Woohoo for seeing the scale start inching it's way down again!

emoticon Last night I had pasta for the first time in months! But I got out my measuring cup and spoons and measured how much ate. I ate slowly and talked with DH while I ate, and felt fully satisfied when we got done! Today I'm going to have my shakes, though I'll probably only have one to split between breakfast and lunch. I'm going to use my measuring tools and make sure I don't eat too much, and eat off of a smaller plate. We were going to get a scale so I could weigh my food, but decided against it. Too many other purchases we need to make right now. So, going stay in my calorie range today!!

emoticon Already worked out for 20 minutes, did my 1,000 steps on the riser, about 10 minutes, and the rest without. I'm going to try to work out for 40 more minutes, dispersed throughout the morning and get my strength training in. I'm going to do 1,000 more steps in on the riser, 500 steps at a time. If I feel like I'm overdoing it, I will stop and not do anymore, no matter how many minutes I've worked out. I don't want to overdo it, but I want to make sure I'm getting enough exercise in. Since one of the meds I'm on makes it hard to lose weight, I need to push harder than you normally would.

emoticon I finally got my control journal as done as it can be for right now (www.flylady.com). I've been using this site off and on for over 10 years and can't brag about it enough. If you stick to it, babystep at a time, your house will transform and so will your habits. I love it.
