Determined to do this...

Thursday, July 10, 2014

Well I have decided to make a real go of shredding some pounds over the summer. I usually walk my younger son to school which is just under a mile away with a big hill to go up and down in between - that takes 30 minutes there and back in the morning and the same in the afternoon. Once the summer hols start (25th July) I need to have an alternative in place.

So I got the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred yesterday and am feeling very proud of myself -as I have just done Day 1 level 1. I forgot how hard going it was but am determined to keep going. Recently my son has developed plantar facitis (not sure how you spell it) which basically means it hurts when he walks so I have been taking him to school in the car more and more.

Going to try and blog at least every day to keep myself accountable and am looking forward to shredding those pounds!! emoticon emoticon

Bravo for making a decision and being accountable. You can do it! It is always hard when setting new goals I think, but staying focused and tracking too, may help with this.
Hope your son's P.F. gets better. I had that once when I walked daily on cement and my dr. told me to walk indoors at that time. Plus wearing the gel pads in my tennis shoes worked well. Enjoy the day and keep smiling and motivated. You can do it! emoticon Going to my grandson's t-ball game and then my dd and I and little Peter are coming back to swim. emoticon (-: Irish Ei
