Hi Spark friends! i've really missed hearing from y'all.
So i started Herbalife this week. I decided to replace 2 meals a day w/ their protein shakes. then i have one balanced meal every day and 3 healthy snacks that include veggie/fruit/protein. I love it so far and i think it will be great to jump start my weight loss since the scale has not budged since the end of May :(
I had some reservations to starting it. I spoke w/ my coach for over 2 hours to make sure i would still be meeting my nutritional needs. I was very concerned it would starve me and that getting protein from an unnatural source may not be what i need. I've always struggled getting enough protein. But i tracked my food on spark the past 2 days and i'm amazed at the fact that i'm not hungry and i'm meeting Spark's nutrional guidelines. i've never been able to do that.
So far i love it. i need to buy more flavors so i have a variety, but that will come with time. I have to say i'm struggling to not call it a 'diet' because i want a lifestyle change that is permanenet.
My coach keeps telling me Herbalife is 80% nutrition 20% exercise and 100% mindset so calling it a diet and having the 'diet mindset' wont help my progress. she's right but its hard to get used to the idea....
