Day 10 of 100 Days of Exercise

Wednesday, August 06, 2014

Didn't get to make the rye bread yesterday, didn't have the caraway seeds! But have them today and so I can finish making the bread, yay!

I didn't have a small portion of bread yesterday. I've got to stick to the small portion or I'm going to have to stop baking for a while, and I don't want that! We had a great time baking yesterday, the kids love to measure and pour all the ingredients for me. We make a BIG mess, but hey, it's worth it!

emoticon I ate pretty good yesterday, salad, bean burrito and risotto. I'm about to have a bean burrito for breakfast, will have a salad for lunch, and then probably a risotto or stir fry for dinner. Right now I'm using refried canned beans for my burrito, but I'm planning on cooking some beans and having fresh, starting tomorrow! Cottage cheese is my friend. My doctor told me it is best to have some protein after an anxiety attack. I have peanuts in the car, and cottage cheese in the fridge. I've also found that when I'm feeling snacky, a bite or two of cottage cheese is all I need, then I feel sated.

emoticon I worked out for 20 minutes on the elliptical yesterday, and I'm hoping to up that by a few minutes today. Today is a more intense day, so I'm going to either do a 2nd elliptical work out or I'm going to do a workout DVD. I forgot to set my alarm again last night, so I'm didn't get up early to work out. Things work so much better for me throughout the day when I do. Must remember tonight!

Lots to do today, I won't list it all!

I never knew having a protein snack after an anxiety attack helps. Great idea!

    Great job on the workout!

    Will definitely choose my hard.

Isn't fun cooking/baking with your kids! It may be a mess but it is worth it.
