Day 15 of 100 Days of Exercise!

Monday, August 11, 2014

One of the things I love most about writing blogs on here is your encouragement! Thank you all so much for every comment, they help so very much!

Yesterday was a doozy of a day. Here we are having a leisurely Sunday, when a repo guy shows up to get my car! The guy is a good ol' boy and as nice as can be (first day on the job), lets us get stuff out of our car and take the tag, but the whole time I'm thinking, this for one month? We were one month behind that I knew of! Well turns out they have not been taking money out of our account for longer than that (we knew we didn't have money for one payment, but the money has been there for them to take out for every other payment!). No warning, no phone call, no letter, just bam, we're taking your car back. Turns out if we pay it up in full we can get it back. DH wants to dip into savings and just pay the whole car off and write a bad review on them and wash our hands of them. I'm loathe to dip into savings, but we need my car back! And here we are trying to build up our credit to buy a home!

Okay, done venting.

emoticon Food today is going to be a little tricky, we will be out for lunch. I'm hoping to go to Balsas and get the world's best shrimp tacos again! So oatmeal and an orange for breakfast, and a salad for dinner with maybe a boiled egg for protein (or a bite of cottage cheese). I've been using cottage cheese for my snacking, on or two bites of it and my craving, hunger is gone, it is great!

emoticon Going to work out on the elliptical in about 30 minutes. Will try my best to do at least 20 minutes, but I'll be happy with 10.

I guess this motivator is for the New Year, and I agree, I always break my new year's resolutions.

Hearing the bus roll by this morning while my girls are still in bed, I love it. homeschooling is great. We probably spend more time on homeschooling than your average homeschool family. A fact my friend loves to point out to me. It works for us, and that is what matters. We have fun, we learn, we don't put a time limit on it. If it takes us all day, that is fine. It it takes us the textbook 4 hours, that is fine too. I love knowing my girls get the sleep they need, I love watching them learn, I love helping them learn new things. Is it hard, you bet. But to me, it is worth it. I just want to give them their best chance, and right now we believe that is with me. If I ever think it isn't, we will send them to school, but for now it is. Hearing the 2nd bus roll by now. To think I'd be heading out the door to take them to school now instead of sipping coffee in my PJ's as they sleep... Happy homeschool Momma.

Okay, off my soap box, lol

Today I will:
emoticon Take DH to the dentist (finally!)
emoticon Drink my water
emoticon Stick to my food plan
emoticon Work out
emoticon Homeschool
emoticon Work on To Do List

Loved your blog. Brought back memories of when I homeschooled my son who is now a software engineer. Asking the Lord for a glorious opposite concerning your car situation and your credit. Praying that everything works together for good. Romans 8:28. Sending blessings your way. Marsha emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Sorry about the car situation. That's gotta be hard. Hope you can find the right solution.
Great job on the workout plan!
And yes, homeschooling is a reward in and of itself.

I loved homeschooling too! It was so nice having them home all day and our schedule not being dictated by the school schedule!

Sorry about your car, praying that the situation will be resolved soon.
