1st Week

Well, my first week of my 12 week challenge is done! I lost 1.2 lbs. Not as much as I had hoped, but I'll take it... or rather, leave it! emoticon

I had two "bad" days, which is ok. Better two than 7.

I went for my run last night. When I left work yesterday the temp was 105, with a heat index of 111. emoticon PRAISE THE LORD, a storm rolled in and it cooled off considerably! We didn't get any rain, although apparently there was a down pour 5 miles away. Don't you hate that? Esp when it's needed so bad. As you can imagine with those temps everyone's lawn is dying. I could water more, but honestly that's such a waste.

Ok, well that's all I have. Lesson Learned from Week 1 - Thou must not have TWO cheat days. haha

    Way to go! For me I did my walking in doors. I see these different challenges where do you all get them from?

    Oh, no way Greg. I was planning on going to the gym, but it cooled down. It was around 88 when I ran.

    Holy guacamole! You ran in 105 temp???? I think that entitles you to the title of bad***. (Hope that does not offend you .... basically I'm saying - you rock!)

    And ... wooo hoo on the 1.2. That is better than 1. Wayyyy better than 0. And infinitely awesomer than gaining.
