Day 6

Stayed in range for calories all week and had breakfast and my 5 fruits/veggies. An added benefit of being very mindful of my produce intake has been a much better number on my fiber count on my nutrition page. I've always struggled getting enough fiber and dislike getting it from "fake" sources like fiber bars or powders, but much prefer it from real food. And it's working!
I did get in some fitness this week, I did one day of abs/arms, a much neglected area for me of late. I only really did it because it was so hot outside I couldn't bear to go running lol.
The next day I got my husband to take a long (3.7 mile with hills) walk with me. I don't feel I get nearly as much benefit from walking as from running, but this was a plus because it was doing something good for us together. My husband doesn't get in much fitness at all, so every little bit is helpful.
Then Thursday I did a track run/walk of three miles. It was hot and I had to push myself. I set my goal to run 1/2 the track and walk 1/4, then repeat. Even running 1/2 the track is a challenge for me but I did it. I made good time (for me) for the three miles, and plan to try to improve on it every time I go.
Downside is my weigh ins have not been good, in fact, I am up a pound. But I'll see what Monday brings, I know my body and that it can fluctuate like that quite often.
