In a Slump

I had my weekly weigh-in today and gained almost 3 pounds from last week. I knew that I wasn't eating well or exercising enough. I just haven't had the drive to push myself. The change of seasons has been rough this year.

I know what I need to do with my diet, but I continue to make poor choices. In the past I've had an iron-will for months. However, lately I've felt out of control.

    Sleep at least 7 hours a night (many folks need 8). It helps keep off extra pounds. emoticon

    You sound so frustrated but you sound like someone who really does know what she needs to do. Maybe you do need to just take a deep breath and focus on one aspect for this next week. I, unfortunately, understand about crappy weather changes and how it affects everything we feel and do. It sucks! Hang in there and be kind to yourself. emoticon

    Take just one thing and focus on it this week. You can get your control back - just don't try to do too much at once.
