I subscribe to several email subscription lists that send daily or weekly motivational articles, and although I retired eight years ago, I know I don't have to be working at a paying job to gain inspiration and good advice from some of the business-related lists.
One list I still subscribe to is "Great Work Provocations" from "Box of Crayons" by Michael Bungay Stanier. These usually brief bits of wisdom are, in Stanier's words, "like a shot of espresso, but healthier." This morning I was inspired by a six-minute video from the Johnnie Walker advertising campaign.
You don't have to be a fan of the whiskey to enjoy the great scenery and the story of one family's journey toward reaching their goals. Because the video ended with the words "Keep Walking," I couldn't help but think of how some of these Great Work Provocations might also be inspirational, helpful and enjoyed by some of us on SparkPeople.
Here's today's email with a link to the video:
Have you been walking regularly?
How has walking helped you to reach your goals or inspire you to try harder?
