Here we go again...

...and I've got my long term weight goal and short term fitness and weight loss goals figured out.

Weighed in at 158.6 this morning and will be down to 150 or less by February 1. Each month thereafter my goal will be to lose 5 pounds. Slow and steady is the best way to go. No day-to-day weigh-ins. I'll step on the scale on the 1st for official weigh-in numbers and on the 15th to see if I am on track or I need to tweak something by the end of the month.

Fitness plan for January:

1 day yoga
1 day Tae-Bo
1 day short run or long walk outside (the warmest day, of course)
1 day Jackie Warner workout
1 day Violet Zaki workout from DVR
Sat or Sun - 30 min on stationary bike or 2 mile outdoor run

Averages a total of 150+ minutes a week, which is low for me but will get me used to working out regularly again.

Approaching this with positivity not negativity because feeling like a failure gets me results the opposite of what I want. Life is too short to dwell on the negative. Healthy is the overall goal because sometime this year I need to go in for a head-to-toe check-up and I don't want to be frightened by the results.
