Vuja de, Deja vu ,all over again

Where have I seen this before?
It's my life from last year!

January 1, 2014 decided to try Fatlosers (to some success)
January 6, 2014 started my new job (starry eyed and relaxed)
January 7, 2014 the day of discovery at my new job (most horrible day ever)

Fast forward to now.

January 6, 2015 decided to try Fatlosers again (to better success)
January 6, 2015 In walks State Inspectors for 4 days to do a total review (they also got in trouble for what occurred here)

On a professional level I couldn't be happier although this is stressing me out due to what I need to do while they are here. My filing system will never be the same.
I chat with the inspector in down-time and she appreciated MY comments that she has improved, her questions are good and she is more thorough. She was only a year on her job when she inspected a few years earlier and missed what I found.

She in turn has praised much of my work, pointed out some things I haven't yet fixed and is still blasting administration for what can't get done because my hands are tied.

In some respects I am enjoying the dog and pony show.

On the personal front I had a teary moment when completing my questions for day 2 of Siebold.

Am I fully committed?
My heart isn't into any commitment at the moment. I'm a mess. Perhaps a day or two away from everything to clear my head will give me the rest my heart and mind need. I'm overwhelmed and OVERWORKEDJANET.

Perhaps this inspector will help you get some personnel you need. And, it's good to receive recognition for what you were able to accomplish. Overall - it is a tough, stressful situation for you.
For me, stress and changing eating habits don't go together too well. If you can just manage to eat healthfully and hold your weight for a while - I'd consider it a success. Staying healthy is so important when we are under stress.

emoticon Siebold is tough, that's for sure. Some years I'm ready to take it in his terms, other years, not so much. Right now, in the midst of Beck, who is also tough but says it differently, I can't take him on at the same time. But when you work ANY of these programs, working them from the heart, tears if needed... is the only way to go.

I think it is great that you know it is too much for today and your mind and heart won't be in it. Take one day at a time.
I hope you can breath and get time for yourself after the inspector leaves.

It's always stressful when the inspectors come, even when the final report is good. Ride it out and then breathe a sigh of relief. Good things may come from this.

Sounds like a wise idea to me. Your immediate focus is overwhelmingly with your professional responsibilities. It must be satisfying to getting some very positive feedback, and support, on all your hard work. Let the evaluation have your focus then come back to putting the rest of your personal plan in place. In the meantime, I hope you can find some quiet peaceful relaxation time for you - a few moments in a tub of bubbles?? curl up with a book??!!

Well, you're doing what you need to do, and eventually that commitment will happen .. . . eventually.

As far as work, it is tough all over for sure. Hang in there. You're obviously doing the right things.

Gee! Hoping the inspection clears the block that is preventing you from doing what you know needs to be done. Maybe you can suggest, on the QT, that the inspectors come again next year too to give more power to your elbow, or better yet in six months.

Hoping that you feel less overwhelmed now.
Maybe Siebold could wait until the inspection is over? Even though we know you are MT, JANET.

Sounds very very tough at work --

but also maybe hopeful? Change possible?

The commitment comes AFTER we commit (if that makes any sense).

You and the inspector seem to have a good professional relationship.
