What a delightful weekend

The weather in Colorado was glorious.

Saturday morning I got my water aerobics workout in then picked up the girls and took them to the flea market. We were there for hours and I only had to sit down once! And even that was right at the end when they were dawdling at a booth trying to pick out some jewelry. I was talking with the owner and, for some reason, the discussion came around to age. I told him I had no doubt that I was WAY older than he thought I was. He guessed my age (after being told I'm older than he thought) at 40. emoticon I'll be 52 in May!!

Sunday I went to the gym and worked out with my personal trainer for half an hour and did cardio for half an hour. I told him I'm down 66 pounds and he asked me if that was normal. According to my doctor's office I'm actually ahead of the curve. My personal trainer said he wasn't surprised because he had worked with another post-WLS client who didn't work out as hard as I do and didn't see the results I'm seeing. He said the guy eventually just "floated" away and lost touch so he doesn't know what the end result was.

After the gym I went home and helped the kids clean house and rearrange 'cuz we got some new furniture. Then I went and did really NICE things for myself, lol. Got my nails done and a pedicure, then took the girls out to dinner to thank them for the help getting the furniture sorted. At the restaurant I was barely able to eat anything. It was Texas Roadhouse and I LOVE their steaks but I literally ate maybe two or three fingernail size bites of the steak, three or four bites of the sweet potato (no brown sugar), a small broccoli floret and three or four baby carrots. The rest is sitting in my refrigerator and will be supper tonight.

I'm feeling really GOOD about things right now!
