Day 44/ Friday!

Friday, February 13, 2015

So we have Classical Conversations today (school) and I didn't get anything ready last night. I was feeling so drained yesterday after all of my company that I let the kids put together their own Valentine's boxes, and they did it wrong, they didn't attach the lid to the box, so it's rather superfluous. We'll see what I can do to fix it this morning (last night I was just too tired). I wonder if super glue works on that foam stuff? :)

I did really good yesterday on food!! I said no to all the sweet goodies that my friends brought over. I ate only one serving at dinner, though it was SO tempting to have seconds. Today is the day that I usually get McD's drive through and eat on the way home (I'm usually starving by the time CC is over!). I'm going to take some snacks for me to have during snack time and see if I can't make it home to eat (not that there is much here, I need to clean the fridge and go shopping).

I worked out for a full 30 minutes yesterday, but forgot to track it, must go back and do that. No work out today so that I can be ready on time to leave! Maybe I'll have the energy to wok out this afternoon.

Today is Mom's birthday. I forgot to take the reminder off my calendar, so I was greeted with a reminder on my phone this morning. It's been three years since she passed, and I still think sometimes that I should call her about this or that. Then reality sinks back in. Oh, how I miss her. She would have loved today. She insisted that Friday the 13th is a lucky day and got a big kick out of her birthday being on a Friday.
