Something to be proud of

My husband took me to Perkins this morning as a Valentine breakfast (because tomorrow it's going to be so very cold in Minnesota). Perkins has what they call Fit Favorite entrees that war under 600 calories. Of course, there were only two options but the Blueberry Banana Multigrain Pancake Platter sounded pretty good. I ate all my egg beater scrambled eggs, the bananas and today, instead of forcing the rest, I ate only 1 multigrain pancake and 1 chicken apple sausage. The entire meal was delicious and I walked away not feeling overly stuffed. I also have left overs for tomorrow's breakfast.

So my take away is: even though I don't feel like I'm making very much progress, the SparkPeople messages must be playing in my head. And I'm very pleased to know that I must also be listening. Now that my food has settled a bit, I'm ready to tackle the treadmill!
