Stanley Park Sea Wall Walk
Monday, February 16, 2015
This morning I left bright and early, after 10 am of course to do the Stanely Park Sea Wall - I was not planning on walking the whole wall but I did and it took more then 15,000 steps to complete, and believe me I was sore and stiff afterwards. Below are some of the 70+ pics that I took, and one video but I still have to learn how to do videos on Windows 8... I didnt' find many flowers on this trip and I was really looking for more natural rustic looking things, but found more then I bargained for including garbage which was annoying... the surf of the water was the best, and kept me company through out the walk and when there was surf I turned off my music to allow nature's symphony in full without anything else. It was encouraging me to continue on this long long walk.
The park is still pretty damp from all the rain, but then again, it is a rain forrest area = and the park may have a cause way through it but no other developement is allowed at this time, including any pipe line, that we will not tollerate ... ever ... no matter how much money the oild companies have ... bad enough they have ruined Burnaby Mountain, allowed by the Federal Government overriding the city ... shame on them .. anyway ... enjoy the pics at least I hope you do. Cheers
