Day 50!

Okay, I'm going to be a bit hard on myself for just a minute. I've not lost any weight or gained any muscle... I've procrastinated and made excuses... I feel like I've just not been trying. I feel like I didn't really try hard enough. I should have at least lost 10 pounds by now!! *rant over*

BUT... I learned what works and does not work for me. Getting up early and working out is a MUST, but just working out on the WiiFit is not enough, I need to be on the elliptical. If I don't work out in the morning, chances are that I'm not going to work out at all. I need more of a strict diet, with plenty of healthy snacks. If my Juice Plus will ever actually get here, that will do perfectly. Doing two shakes a day will be hard, but will be worth it. I'll start getting up early again, working out on the WiiFit and then go to the elliptical at 0700 when DH's alarm goes off. He doesn't usually wake up with said alarm, but he's just going to have to deal with me working out.

I'm out of copycat Kind bars, so going to make some more of those today. No apple juice concentrate this time! Have to order some more brown rice syrup. Snacks like those are what really do the trick, a lot of crunch, a little salty, a little sweet; just right for any craving. My juice works good too, if I don't drink it all in the morning, but I see no sense in making it when I'm going to be doing the JP shakes, that is just too much to drink in one morning, plus water!

It's super cold today, 8 degrees! And the wind chill puts it in the negatives. I'm sitting by a window, so I'm freezing!

I have to remember what I'm learning in the book Made To Crave, pray with every craving, tear down my tower of impossibility brick by brick and use those bricks to pave my way, through prayer, to success. I have to admit I don't pray enough. Some times days go by and I've forgotten completely. It's one I'll probably read and reread, to get the lessons in it to sink in. I'm supposed to be reading unglued, but I must admit I'm having a hard time reading so many books at one time.

So:
~ start getting up early again, work out on the WiiFit (or maybe do my workout videos, those are hard!) and use the riser for at least 10 minutes of the 30, that should give me a better work out.
~Start on JP as soon as it comes in the mail
~Make copycat Kind bars today

    You will discover what works best for you...just keep at it!! You have a good plan. Don't forget to take measurements as well.........sometimes when fat turns to muscle you will not see a change on the scale-sometimes the numbers will go up! Don't be discouraged. The way your clothes fit will be an indicator as well..........just don't give up! emoticon

    You can do this. Consistency is an issue I work on daily. Made to Crave book sounds interesting. But my cravings are much less since going lo carb. Have a great day emoticon emoticon emoticon
