Day 53/ Day 3 of 30

We went out to eat at Chili's yesterday. I scoured the menu for food I could eat and finally found a salad with honey-lime dressing (it was yum!). Then I ate a shake for dinner, but got the munchies big time. So I had a pear, some peanuts and some pecans. Overall I'd say I ate more than I would have liked, but am proud that I managed to say no to all of the chips and such that we have here right now. DH bought a huge bag of cheesy popcorn, which I can't have due to the cheese, and man was it hard to resist last night. But I prayed, I remembered to rely on His strength and not my own. So yesterday was a good food day.
Didn't work out yesterday, was my 'day off', but going to work out this morning in just a few minutes. This morning will be my test to see if I can work out in the morning and still get dressed and ready to go early in the morning. We have to leave for church by 8.
My body does not seem to like the milk alternatives that I'm drinking, I've had gas like crazy the past two days. I hope I get used to it and the gas goes away.
I still have not come up with a recipe that I love for the vanilla shake. I'm drinking one a day, so that I don't drink up all of the chocolate, but I'm having a hard time liking it. I bought some peaches I'm going to try with it today. Yesterday I tried banana and cinnamon, did not llike. And all of the recipes I've looked at so far don't sound good. Who puts oats in their shake? bleh. I imagine it might taste good to someone else. Not me.
I'm SO hoping to see some results come Friday. I know I'm eating much healthier, working out, not taking in too many calories. Hopefully it will pay off this week. Even just a pound to get me under the 250's will make me happy!
