Areas for Moderation

I am sometimes my own worst enemy! I become obsessed with certain things and don't seem to know how to add variety. For the past year, all I did was knit - most of the time while sitting in my living room watching old television reruns! I THOUGHT I was working toward my business - but at the end of the year I had made about the same profit in 2014 as I had in 2013 when I started out. LESSON: It's not about having a huge stockpile of items, it's more about having items that people want!

So this year I have added SparkPeople (to help me on the path of healthy living and a better lifestyle); a weekly Bible Study (to remind me that God is my truest ally and only wants the best for me); Daily Reading of material that will expand my consciousness; and next I want to start working on my family history so I have something permanent to pass along to my children. I am still knitting; however, I've stopped making knitting my ultimate priority!

Now the challenge is to do the same with my nightly shot(s) of Whiskey. This has become such a habit for me, going back to my very stressful working days. I am no longer working, and I am no longer stressed out all the time - so it's time to put whiskey on the moderation list! With God's help and encouragement by SparkPeople - I am ready for the challenge.
