A Beautiful Sunday

Again, the week begins with all kinds of hopes, plans and dreams. I have made a couple of new challenges to myself by increasing the number of steps I log in each day and also increasing the time and calories expended for exercise. I really want to create a better life for myself.

I had intended to take Daisy for a walk today but we had the kids over for pizza and play time and I find myself actually quite exhausted. That, coupled with Daylight Savings time, I think the better course of action is to walk on the treadmill a couple of times this afternoon, maybe do some stationary bike and one of Coach Nicole's toning videos. I see that the weather should improve considerably as the week moves along so there are plenty of days for Daisy and me to talk walks. I'd like to believe that by the end of this week (March 14th) Daisy and I can make the entire swoop around the path.

So, for the rest of today I think I'll read, knit, watch some television, do what I absolutely need to do for exercise - and just consider this my "day of rest".
