So I've been online daily, just haven't updated my blog.
Had some ups and downs over the last three weeks. I struggled for a couple of weeks between taking care of family, bad weather, being ill and just being overwhelmed but I rearranged some priorities and renewed my commitment to myself and I'm back on it.
Yesterday was a STELLAR day. Ninety minutes of exercise, stayed under 750 calories (I had a sleeve gastrectomy four months ago - this is temporarily normal and healthy for me), got over 70g of protein (something that's CRITICAL after this surgery) and drank 45 oz of liquid (again, a restriction imposed by my reduced stomach size, but I'm working my way up). I felt like such a good girl.
Today I'll cheat just a little. I'm actually going to have some corned beef and cabbage for lunch and I have a neuromuscular massage appointment after work so my only work out will be the 45 minute walk I took a little earlier. I expect to make my protein goal (60g) again today as well as my liquids (45 oz) so, all told, a good start to my week!
