Still adding good habits a day !

Wednesday, March 25, 2015

For three days I was without heat because the furnace broke . Not easy when its 9 degrees outside but I managed . I still am adding a tiny good habit for each day . I hope to see results both physically and mentally because I must admit I am tiny teeny bit depressed ! lol. I think the key to being successful in any endeavor is of course motivation but what is the key to motivation?
For some it might be a reward of some sort but for me it is more about seeing small progress that I can build on . I am trying to think of it as a horse race . You might think the race starts when all the horses are lined up and ready to go . The middle is the race itself and the end is the finish line . That's what I used to think but now I know the race starts long before the horse gets to the starting gate .
So far with my little habits , I have not reached that AH HA moment when I feel really inspired by my progress . It will come probably when I least expect it .I do know that doing something is better then doing nothing. So I will plod on not with the spirit of a racehorse but more with a plow horse ! Hopefully I will transform !

Yay for little, doable positive changes that will become great permanent habits! You have already transformed in that you have opened your mind to trying this approach!
