Sunday Rest

Sunday, April 19, 2015

I am on Day 3 of my six week "induction" to the EAT TO LIVE program put together by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. So far I have stuck to the plan perfectly. This morning (3:00 AM) I had two mini whole wheat bagels with vegan cream cheese....which is allowable, however I will have to forgo anymore starches today. Yesterday I didn't have any at all so it is not impossible. I did not weigh myself today. Yesterday I was a bit unhappy to find that I did not lose anything....however in recalling my other six weeks in the past, that I would lose one or 2 pounds every other day....I wish I had weighed myself today....but have already been drinking and had those bagels.....I will weigh tomorrow or maybe will even wait until Wed.

I'm very tired this morning (it's 3:00 AM) --I didn't sleep well. Every hour or so I woke up thinking it was time to get up. I finally gave upon sleep and got up at two....but I think nowI will try to go back to sleep. My eyes are hurting and burning. Will put some drops in them and then rest them.

I pray you each have a good Sunday--Remember who is LORD of the SABBATH today.
blessings to each one of you on your journey.

Good for you! Way to work the program!
I notice that side effect of not getting enough sleep -the hurting and burning eyes. I hope you managed to go back to sleep. Unreal to eat at 3 am, can't imagine that. Does Eat to Live have anything to say on the timing of meals? Usually its always been touted to have regular eating times. I used to get these mini whole wheat bagels, but can't find them anymore :-(
Good luck with the weigh in!
Hope you have a peaceful and restful Sunday!
