So many days have passed; where have they gone?

It's interesting to me how there often seems to be a connection between my mood and/or my particular circumstance and what I happen to read on Spark People that day. Today I listened to Spark Guy Chris talk about recovering after setbacks - which is such a coincidence because this morning when I sat down to open Spark People I was thinking how little I had been working on my goals over the past week or so.

So today I am recommitting to myself to get back on track. Even though we're having a run of cooler and rainy days - I'm going to find 30 minutes when Daisy and I can get outside for a walk. I'm also going to do spend some time with one of my yoga tapes and get back on track with my Boot Camp commitment (I'm 4 days short of being finished). I have nothing else more important on my agenda today than taking care of myself. I also have a new Spark People recipe to try out for dinner this evening.

I really liked this fragment of a poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson is telling:

"Finish each day
And be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and
Absurdities have crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can."

I'm going to move on with my life and keep reaching for my goals; if I keep going I know I will achieve them. "One minor setback is nothing if you really want something and are willing to work for it."
