Making things happen at the gym

I'm getting my @$$ kicked and all I am doing is stretching.
And the dreadmill.
And the arm bike.
I hurt, in a good way. It shows already after two weeks of PT for my shoulder and my new daily workouts. There's truth to muscle memory. I have awesome biceps. I hope the rest of my body remembers.
Back in the day (90's) it was body "sculpting" not building that we did in the gym. There was a time I could bench press my own weight. I wore lycra gym clothes and fuzzy leg warmers. AND the required poofy hair. I wish I had a picture.
The picture now is me on the floor, hands on belly and legs extended being told to lift both legs at the same time.
I tightened all those appropriate core muscles and lifted.
I did two about 1 inch from the floor.
This is going to take some time.
