Week 9 Results (Operation Pre-Pregnancy Weight)

Week 9 results for: May 27- June 2

Sorry for the late blog update it's been really busy around here. I had another bad week food wise, but I did manage to get back into my exercise routine. I'm not sure what's going on with me, why am I self sabotaging when I'm so close to my goal? I am letting my stress get to me again and I just need to get a grip and get back focus. If you all would be so kind to send my some encouragement, motivation, anything on Fridays I would greatly appreciate it.


Nutrition: I'm still struggling on Fridays with my nutrition. On Sunday I said enough is enough, I have got to take back control and that's what I did. I am putting it all out there for you all to know that it's not easy, you will have struggles, but it's up to you to get out of it. I stayed in range 5 out of 7 days.


Fitness: My goal was to exercise 4 days for at least 50mins. I didn't hit my 4 days, but I did improved from last week. I exercised 3 days.



Weigh In: I'm up 0.6, but it was expected. At one point I was up 1.8lbs and by weigh in it went down. It could have been worst and I'm so happy I didn't let a few bad days turn into a few back weeks, months, etc.

    You can do this! I had the same thing happen right before I was about to reach my goal, so I know your frustration! Just take each day one at a time and don't look back. Can't change the past, so just focus on the future. Each decision is an opportunity to make a healthy choice. You totally got this. Just the fact that you're catching yourself now before things go too far is a huge deal. Try to stay focused & your hard work will pay off!

    Let me tell you the week ends are always the hardest for me...that's when I am usually out and about so I tend to make bad choices..but like you said by Sunday I am back on it, just about killing myself to exercise it all back off...We can do this, we just have to think positive and stand our ground! emoticon emoticon

    You're doing good. As you said, you did not let it get out of control, you are taking charge after a very small regain instead of letting it go for days or weeks. That is progress! It's really hard not to slide back into bad habits when we are super stressed, but you can do it. Stop and take a breath. Remember, you are a priority, you need to take care of yourself and that includes eating healthy. Don't give yourself the added stress of being disappointed in yourself!     This SH#$ is SOOOO hard, most days, huh? No doubt! I am like you- I do "good" 5 days and kinda fall off over the weekend which keeps me spinning my wheels in the mud and not going anywhere. I feel ya. We can help each other! Weekends are so hard. GOOOOOO Kiba! Let's just try to have 1 cheat meal per week or something? I need ideas too!

    oh - yes... no matter how much you exercise... the weight loss happens with food control... unfortunately.
    Keep on going and maybe try to find what it is that is stressing you out so much. Maybe you can reduce the stressors or workload a bit to protect yourself!
    Keep going - you are in charge and you can do it!

    Kiba, you've got the drive.............that struggle to overcome the stress eating monster is something I, too, face on a daily basis! Most days these days I win...........but sometimes the Monster wins. That's part of "life". It's how we work *with* the Monster and how we overcome the battles the Monster wins that determine the course of the war within ourselves. It's just one battle..............it doesn't mean the Monster wins! Keep doing what you are doing.............make it 6 our of 7 days this week............... and remember you have a whole bunch of people behind you who care!!! emoticon
