Slow but sure wins the race

Sunday, June 07, 2015

The weight may not be coming off as quickly as I would like, but it is coming off.
I really wanted to reach my goal weight for my 60th birthday which is in late
February of 2016. Not sure I can do it but I am not going to change that goal. It
would be a lot easier if I could exercise everyday, but the knee and heart
problems are keeping that in check. But I will NOT give up.

Terri you can do this. Take it easy though and don't overdo. It is one step at a time.
I have been heavy all my life and now is our time. We can do this. Easy does it, day by day. Follow your doctors instructions and ask him what you can do.

It is so true that slow & steady wins the race, so keep doing your level best & success will come. Actually, dropping the pounds more slowly gives our bodies time to adjust to the changes being made. Slow & steady we should go! emoticon

Just rejoice in knowing that, come your birthday in February, you will be lighter than you are on this day in June. emoticon That is something we both can rejoice in knowing!

God bless us both with success day-by-day!

    Terri,

You just do what you can do, without hurting yourself any further, and be mindful of your pain level. You're doing so well, and I'm very proud of you!!!

    Blessings!

Slow but sure has been my motto from the start ... that's why the tortoise is on my ticker. :-)

Keep up the good work! emoticon

Small changes and consistency can work miracles in one's life.

I love doing walking videos in my home. I used to try and walk too much and push myself. But, now... I am happy for one (15 minute) mile if that is all my body will do. Keep up the good work. You are doing fantastic. I know all too well how hard it is to get the weight off. emoticon
