Little things in Utah

Monday, June 15, 2015

I've skipped over Grand Teton National Park.
It's just so large and the vistas so grand I have to pick the right pictures.
I caught the little things in Salt Lake and visitors centers.
Hummingbird battles

Darned pretty flowers

Gabriel (?) on the Mormon Temple

Stained glass on the Assembly Hall

Clock by the streetcar stop. I didn't realize progress was reflected in the glass. On a large picture I can see the reflection of a crane on the building behind me.

I love hummers too. One of the best things about late spring, summer, and early fall.

    My hubby does stained glass.

Beautiful pictures. That stained glass window is great. Having been to Grand Teton Nat'l park I can do nothing but agree with you -- it's views are majectic, breathtaking, gorgeous.

I found Salt Lake to be so different. The brine flies have a 24 hr. lifecycle so there were tons of deceased brine flies on the beach. And, of course, Salt Lake has so much salt that you really float . . . and when you get out of the water, you dry with a layer of salt on your skin!

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures.

Ooh, ooh, LOVE the hummingbirds! Every so often one visits my back fence, but I NEVER have a camera ready! emoticon
